Events on Life Festival Oswiecim



We are running on Saturday, 28 June, in Oświęcim. The 2nd edition of the street run “Sporting Tolerance”, which is organized by the Peace Festival Foundation and the District Council in Oświęcim, will take place on Saturday, 28 June in Oświęcim.

This event is going to be truly interesting – such celebrated athletes as Iwona Guzowska and Robert Korzeniowski (who took part also in the last year run) have already confirmed their participation.

This year the run will encompass additional events, of which the major will be:

- “Roller Run” – over a distance of 2.5 km, start at 9:00 a.m.,
- “Life Run” – over a distance of 5 km – start at 9:30 a.m.,
- “Sporting Tolerance” (main event) – over a distance of 10 km (exactly the distance is 9 km 600 m) - start at 9:30 a.m.,
- “Family Run” – over a distance of 2.5 km – start at 11:15 a.m.

The tracks, like the year before, will run along the Osiedle Chemików streets in Oświęcim.

The winners of the main event over the 10 km distance will be awarded these prizes: 1,000 PLN – 1st place, 800 PLN – 2nd place, 500 PLN – 3rd place. The main prizes of the “Life” run are: 700, 500, and 300 PLN respectively. Additionally, there will be tickets for LFO concert featuring Eric Clapton offered as prizes in 6 age categories.

The starting fee until 25 June 2014 is as follows:10 km run – 30 PLN; paid after deadline and at the office 40 PLN
5 km run – 20 PLN; paid after deadline and at the office 30 PLN
Roller Run – 10 PLN; paid after deadline and at the office 20 PLN
Family Run – no starting fee

On Saturday, 28 June, the office is open from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m.
